Replace radio, 2002 Camry

Here's how it worked on mine:

1) Insert a putty knife or a broad-blade screwdriver at the bottom of the panel with the climate controls. Gently pry that forward (it hinges at the top).

2) With that loose, grab the bezel that surrounds the radio and pull it straight toward you.

3) The top piece with the outside temp readout will still be attached. Either unplug the display or unscrew the panel to allow you to set the bezel aside and get it out of your way.

4) There are four 10mm bolts holding the radio in. Remove those, using at least a 6" extension bar on your ratchet (which you will need to reach the back two bolts).

5) Slide the radio out, and unhook the two plugs and the antenna lead in the back.

6) Unscrew the four screws that hold on each side bracket. Note whether the longer fingers were on the top or bottom for reinstallation.

7) Installation is in reverse order.

I hope you find this helpful.
