I wonder if you don't have some structural damage to your car due to the fact that it was difficult to install. You might want to look into that. I've yet to see one that didn't just drop on easily. Hotchkis is very high quality and I've never heard on anyone that's ever had to do anything when installing their parts.

Again, it looks great. You made the right choice, there is no doubt about that.
Nah there wasn't any structural damage. Its just that there was too much powder coat in the slots for the bolts and scratched a little off and it was fine. It basically dropped in

If you do some digging here I *think* someone did find a strut bar for the GEN 6. Not sure if it was TRD or some other brand.

What exactly is this going to do for you? Or rather what effect does it have on the car in terms of handling?

It makes the car handle better by helping to eliminate deflection of the upper suspension mounting points (top of the strut).

The TRD STB is stiffer than the factory STB.

I agree, I'm jealous! Do all of these aftermarket add-on's have any effect on the factory warranty? Just curious.....

I dont see why the strut bar would have any effect on the warranty. It stiffens the front end and reduces body roll, but it doesn't have any negative effects. I mean if u get right down to it, you can always take it out b4 u go in for warranty work. 5mins to put on and 5 to take off. By the way its still running wonderfully. I got on the 495 beltway around DC last night and in a couple areas the turns are banked like a lemans race track,so I could feel it working. Not to mention I can turn alot sharper when backing up at a decent speed.
