I recently found out my window tint from the inside got scratched or the tint got scraped just a tad scratch. Is there any way to fix that piece of tint scratched or I have to replace the whole window in order to get a new tint in place or can they remove the existing tint and slap in fresh tint??
tint shops will remove the tint and put new tint on.. it will cost u more than just getting the tint put on of course.. taking off the tint is MUCH harder than putting it on
If the place you got your tint done offers a warrenty on scratches, bubbles, peeling, etc, then they should cover the work for free. If they don't, then you def have to pay out of pocket. Which window is it?

Its the right side window in the back. I will never put my lil sis there eve again with her damn nmetal toys if I am going to fix the back window I was planning to make the tint darker in the front and passanger side windows in the front. Do u think thats posssible without too much money putting in?
Don't ask us, go to a tint place, they'll know better and prices for you.

They'll always charge more to take the tint off and put new one's on. If its just the back right window then it shouldn't cost much to replace it. But you should def go to a tint shop for prices. and don't always go cheap cause you'll get what you pay for.
my dad paid 40.00 to replace the tint on the front driver side on my sis' ride when her tint peeled. they did a better job replacing it cause it was a different place. so far so good too!
I could be dreaming, but I could have swore I just saw a product that can repair scratches in window tints. I will try looking into it a little more and try and remember exactly where I saw it.
Nevermind it was a sort of putty compound but only for use on windows where the actual glass is tinted. Not in a case where tint is applied to clear glass. Sorry man, looks like you gotta get it replaced, at least you don't have to replace all windows.
The place i went to is Lifetime Warrenty on any kind of damage to the tint film. That's the reason why i chose them. They did a great job too!

Thats the way to go! My first car that was tinted only covered bubbles and peeling. The 2nd car was a lifetime no matter what and they sure as hell did replace my tints 2 times!! lol. The other cars had no warrenty cause the shop wouldn't cover the front 2 windows since it was "illegal". And the camry is covered no matter what.
i'm thinking of getting a quote to redo the front windows a bit darker. or let my dog accidently scratch them
