Gen5 5spd manual + supercharger

anyone know of a supercharger that works for the gen 5 camry's? i heard you can install a tc supercharger for the camry, just wanting to make sure out of curiousity.

also another question, anyone know how much a transmission swap from auto to 5spd manual would cost on a camry?

The supercharger would take some fabrication skills to install. The Tc and Camry aren't exactly alike in engine compartment layout. You will also need to add a piggyback ECU for tuning purposes as the Tc programming doesn't work in the Camry. There may be more that's needed. I haven't fully researched it.

A transmission swap would be hugely expensive. You're better off selling your car and buying a manual transmission Camry.

I don't know what the cost would be to FI but I assume you have an I4, For the Tranny swap you are looking any where from 600 to 1500 depending on how you source your parts and labor.

Here is Richard's solara (which is the same as the camry I4), it is not SCed but it is a 2AZ Turboed+5 speed swap and his dyno sheet...

It's amazing, considering the 2GR-FE only makes about 200whp.
