I just got a 2005 Camry!

2005 White Camry....I cant wait to mod it up...will post pics soon....I really want a TRD kit, but I need to search more into all the mods available for this car....cant wait to use the search function....

Anyways, Id like to see some pics of rides of the same generation as mine...and perhaps a list of mods....or at least point me in the direction where I can find motivation

Here was my old Tacoma I messed with a few times....got boring, so I changed it up to my liking at the spur of the moment...The Camry is next

Congrats on the new ride. Gen 5.5's are the best looking yet.

What TRD kit are you talking about exactly?

Damn I guess I thought I read about someone mentioning that their camry came off the lot with a TRD kit....looked simple and clean....maybe its made by someone else.... I will learn more as I research deeper into what i want....

My car came from SET with side skirts and spats, front and rear. Is that what you're talking about?

Here's a pic:

It's not a factory kit. SET makes them.

Here my 04 se. i have the trd: rear sway bar, front strut bar, exhaust (axleback) and ksport coilovers (i had the trd springs). I have the factory lip kit aka ground effect kit. My wheels are Enkei OR 52 18x7.5 (235/40/r18). did you have coilovers or air bags on that taco? and for the other members, I will make a little review on these coilovers soon too lazy right now.

DUDE! you camry is gorgeous....thats the kit I am talking about...it came off the lot with it right? so its not TRD? I am going to have to pick your brain when I get a chance if thats ok with you...also whats the offset on your wheels?

and my tacoma when it was slammed on the chrome 19s was only on a static drop, no air bags...it was fun, but as you can see I wasnt happy with it cause I kept changing the ride height and look. The last picture is the way it sits with just a 2/3 drop on Xrunner Wheels

thanks guys. my offset is +38. yeah my kit came off the lot like that. I am not sure is it called the trd kit because I got mixed replies from various dealers in my area. some said it called trd but some said it just factory. for the gen 5 and 5.5 this kit is very rare, even rarely for the gen 5. IMO, i hate how all gen 6 se's come with the kit haha its not unique anymore.

you can't see in the pics my my front lips are kinda bang up on the bottom and crack a little.
check this thread http://toyotanation.com/forum/t202876.html... i was super low(flush, no gap) but my kit was scraping everything, it would take like a full 1 minute and mad angling to get out of a regular parking lot haha so i raise to one finger all around bout a little less than 1/2 inch.

the ksport are great on handling. but the ride is pretty stiff, but i love it stiff. its pretty harsh considering i have 18's with 235/40/r18 i think next time i need tires I will go for 225/45/18. but ride isn't unbearable, it is harsher than trd springs for sure
but dont worry corcamry se i will make a better review this week. I am still tryin to find the best dampering setting on it. i remember you saying you don't want a harsh ride, you should consider the trd springs though, btw love those bbs wheels
