Gen5 Quick Question -- Manual AC control to Auto

I was wondering if the Automatic LCD AC control is a direct replacement for the manual if I wanted to swap out?

If anyone has any information on this let me know.

Oh come on, that was for the Gen 6. Perhaps the Gen 5 would work because it doesnt have the plasmacluster?

No You can't do the upgrade with a reasonable budget. Toyota's are not very friendly when it comes to have them upgraded. It would cost less to sell your car and get another one that already has the upgrade . Toyota's engineers work hard to make sure that you can’t upgrade you LE to have the XLE options without breaking you bank account. As for njerald, he has some serious vocabulary problem . Nothing helpful comes out of his trap .

Actually, njerald posts ALOT of useful information. He's just really blunt. Just look at the link that he provided.

Everyone is able to make comments if they please. He doesn't name call or anything but makes his point.

This thread worked out just fine.

Its just that when somebody starts an unneeded thread, or asks a question that has been asked before, njerald acts like he paying for it.
And for njerald, calm down! If you don't like something you're reading, IGNORE!
