Fog light question

hey guys

this is probably not going to make any sense but i dont know how to describe it, cant find a picture but i bought an aftermarket fog light kit for my LE and i noticed there was two knobs, n it looked like its turnable, now im not sure if it is or not but it looks like it and so i was curious on if anybody know what its for. 1) knob looks smooth while the 2) has ridges around it any idea?

oh and well the bulbs that came with the kit, one of them burnt out on me so i replaced the two bulbs with the factory headlight bulbs cause i got HIDs and their ok, i wish they were brighter tho, so hopefully one of the knobes will make it brighter? no?

Are you talking about the aiming screws? It has a hex at the center?

If you got one of the ebay kits, the aiming screw barely works, well it didn't for me. :P
You could try running brighter bulb but the lamps provided by aftermarket kits arent that bright.

yeah, the 'hex' is only aiming. no it won't make it brighter... but if you aim the fogs higher, it might help. but if your HID's are drowning out your fog lights, then you really don't need them. its more aesthetic than functional in your case.
