Gen6 gen6 rims...

i've changed my rims to 18inch axis like my sig. says on the bottem... but i'm just wondering for all you guys that have changed your rims... i went from a stock hub cap to an actual rims... and now it feels like the steering wheel is moving a lot with the wheels... unlike my other car IS350 i've changed it to a 20in and it still stable like the stock rides... now my camry feels wabbling all over the place on the road... has anyone else suffer this? or is there some way i can fix this... please help..

This could be torwue steer. IS350 is rear wheel drive so you dont get much... if any torque steer.

I have always had some pulling in my steering under heavy acceleration and sometimes on uneven surfaces. I noticed it more when I upgraded from 225/18 to 245/19 tires. These tires grip to the road more so they tend to want to move with the road too.

You might want to have it checked out just to make sure.

I got the same 18x8 with 235-45-18 tires. Make sure you have these steps check out
- Verify if you need alignment by put back the stock wheels. If the car still have the same symptons then have it re-alignment. If the symptons go away then...
- All 4 tires balance
- Buy and install Hub Centric rings
I had to buy these Hub Centric rings for my 20" rims to have the vibration go away.

I put IS rims on my 3rd Gen, and I have the same problem. I believe it has something to do with going with a wider tire, and the position of the tires in relative to the pivot point of the steering. Don't ask me for the details, that's just what I know.

The steering seems to follow the ruts and grooves of the road more right?
