Gen5 rear deck/body integrity

ok, this question sounds like it belongs in audio/stereo, but it has to do with the body as well...

i was thinkin of cutting a hole in the rear deck to drop in an 8" or 10" sub, free-air style. i'm wondering if body strength will be reduced, or if body flex may occur more?

jus wanted some opinions before i go to the local audio store. thanks!
