2003 Camry SE, ABS??

Hello ...

I am new here, looking to buy a 2003 Camry SE and was wondering if any owner of this car can confirm whether this year and model comes with ABS?

I am interested in the 4Cyl SE, and would like to know if it comes with ABS?

Anything else I should be looking out for when buying?

Pretty sure ABS is not standard. To check for ABS, insert the key and turn to on without starting the engine. Somewhere on the dash an ABS indicator should illuminate.

Alternatively, open the hood and look aft of the passenger side headlight for the ABS modulator. It looks like a metal cube with a bunch of thin metal tubes coming out of it.

The ABS modulator is the silver and black cube thing between the two white containers on the left side of this photo.


Without this modulator, the car does not have ABS.

i hacve an 03 SE 4cyl and mine has ABS
i think its standard on all V6 and XLE models
not sure if its standard on the SE....i know it isnt on the LE

standard on all V6 models, plus the i4 XLE. all other models was ABS optional
