Gen6 tire spin allowed if equipped with stability control on Gen6

Another question for you Gen6 Camry gurus...

Mine is a 07 LE V6 with stability control. I have noticed that on two occasions, while making left turn with aggressive throttle, front tire(s) would spin. ANd I am not talking about chirping...real spinning, like a burn out except for only few feet and no smoke. I didn't notice any yellowing waring lights in the dash so i assume traction control wasn't activiated. I haven't tried on the straight line yet but jsut wondering if the above described is normal. THanks.

I would assume it is normal. I have done it before. One thing I do notice is that the car cuts back on the accelerator when you get excessive wheelspin.

What tires you running?

My Traction Control kicks in all the time. When I spin out taking off or slipping on railroad tracks...whatever....the little LED lights up all the time.
