you know its weird cause i own a gen 5.5 and it has psi on the door but my tires arent stock and everybody swears the psi is on the tires but i dont see it.
Actually your handling goes down with higher pressure because you loose contact surface with the road.

No, over inflation is better than under inflation when it comes to handling, even more so when the roads are wet.
Mine are 36 psi front and 34 rear.
Overinflation may give you higher MPG due to lower rolling resistance. It will also shrink the contact patch with the road, thus negatively affecting handling.

+1
You can't have it both ways. Just like people are looking for the tires that have the best traction but also have the best thread wear.
To have the best traction the tire will have to stick to the road therefore it can not have the best thread wear.

Not true, As others stated, you have less contact. You get better traction with less pressure, eg when stuck in some snow it is a trick to let air pressure out for your tires to have more contact to grip and get your car out of the snow (eg top gear north pole special). Also i remember a while back watching a show how army humvees let out the air in their tires for better traction when stuck.
Handling is not the respective contact area of the tire due to a few pounds difference in inflation with the tire at rest!! It's just not worth the effort to pour it into your heads............
