2009 Camry Production Start-up

http://www.donlen.com/buildstart_toyota.asp

Does anyone know if Toyota is making some changes to the 2009 Camry? The production startup dates are in early 2008 which is an odd time to start production on a 2009 model unless they are doing some redesigning.

That is definitely strange. There was another thread a week or so ago that also hinted at a redesign for 2009, along with an early 2008 release. I'd personally be surprised to see a new style so soon, given Toyota has been running each generation of Camry for 5 years. I suppose we'll have to wait and see...

I highly doubt it, because in the Past the Camry goes 5 years in between generations, and the middle .5 generation starts after the third year for that generation. So we shouldnt see any major changes made until the Gen 6.5, which SHOULD be the introduction of the 2010 model.

I wonder if it is a mistake. Do they usually start production later/earlier if it is just a minor update?

Guys remember after the Corolla launch there will be a NEW Crossover that is not even the radar yet. So 2009 Camry production not yet.
