I work at a Garage so i know what im talking about,
I walked through a garage once and stepped in used oil, what does that mean for me?
Supertech is actually made by some other large supplier. If you read around bobistheoilguy.com forums enough, you will find out by who, when ,and the codes on the bottom of the bottle to figure out what you have.
It is not a great oil like Mobil I, but it is better than the basic fossil based penzoil. Should be perfectly fine in a 2.4l camry driven in normal conditions (no rally races or anything) for 5000 miles.
I don't agree with the second. I change the oil every 3,000 miles on my Formula and 5,000 miles on my Camry using Mobil 1. Nothing was wasted.
Define - wasted?
You are buying insurance that you will always have enough protection, therefore, nothing is wasted.
If you ran an oil analysis on that oil at 3000 miles, you will find there is most likely plenty of life left in it and you COULD go to 4000 or 5000 miles safely.
Some would call that a waste.
You consider it protection insurance to have a larger buffer before your oil's protection capacity is used up.

Im glad you can make your away around the garage, next time look where you step.
I never heard of supertech, so i dont know its reputation, took a wild shot in the dark and guessed it was a walmart brand, knowing walmart i wouldnt trust their quality jackass. w203 im happy for you.
Just taking a shot in the dark because you worked at a garage isn't helpful to anyone.
You crack me up. You post information that clearly shows that you have no idea what you're talking about, then you say you worked in a garage so you are knowledgeable and know what you're talking about. That isn't exactly the way it works. I've had plenty of idiots work for me in a shop for a short period of time. They thought that they were smart just like you. They weren't. Like you, they couldn't talk the talk, or walk the walk.
The name calling part really helps solidify your diagnostic and mechanical abilities.
SuperTech Synthetic oil is packaged for WalMart by Warren Distributors (at present). Warren also packages private label products for others. What they do is purchase bulk product from refiners with a generic additive pack, then bottle it for distribution based upon their contracts. Generally, the bulk product comes from major refiners who in the normal course of their business make similar goods.
I have reviewed the specs of SuperTech and it is a fine product. Perhaps it may not be the best for 15,000 miles, but I don't think any oil is. You can use this afforable product with confidence.
(Don't laugh!!!) I put in my 2.4 Autozone Ford motorcraft syn. blend $2.69 a quart and one quart of Marvel Mystery Oil. I was a former Ford owner 2 mustang gt's, 2 SHO's, 3 Escort GT's. The Ford oil is designed for multi-valve engines, required for my v-8 SHO I have used Supertech syn. no problem with 3,700 mile oil change.
