seafom - 2 times in a few days ok?

I seafoamed my 2002 camry I-4. There was smoke for like may be first 2 mins or so. yes I did notice a difference.

Is it ok to seafom again in a week?. (I plan to change oil next weekend, so before that?)

I don't plan to use seafoam in the gas. i guess thats a waste compared to using it via the vaccum line seems to be the best.

As TRD recommended, I used the vacuum line going to the VSV. It was a nice small vacuum tube to use and had good vacuum.

You're a brave TNer. Most people are highly hesitant to use it in the first place-- others live by it. Don't do it again quite so soon.. you're being a bit too foam happy.

Yes, it's fine to use Sea Foam again in a week.

You can also mix it in with your oil. Maybe you could do that, let it circulate, help clean any deposits then change your oil as planed next weekend.

I am due for oil change.

But still apprehensive to add 1/3 to the OIL.

I am afraid that even when i do oil change, not all of it will go away. I don't want to do 2 oil changes just to ensure all of seafoam is gone.

Gen6

I've used Seafoam in the oil of older high mileage vehicles where the lifters were sticky, and it did help.
But unless you actually have problems with sticky lifters or something, I wouldn't put it in the oil.
I do have a 1994 GMC truck that I don't drive very often, and I do put Seafoam in the gas tank once a year, just to help keep the fuel system cleaned out.

TRD, why don't you think it's a good idea to put it in the oil?

I can't see any reason that it would be.

I can understand if you are trying to clean a sludged/gelled engine, it may be helpful.

If a vehicle is properly maintained, the oil does the cleaning. Good quality oils will keep the engine clean and keep the contaminants in suspension. Changing the oil and filter works perfectly fine, and has proven to do so for many, many years.
