Since I have a few pm asking for the video clip of my dual exhaust sound. So here it is.
Pictures of exhaust tips welded. A local muffler/exhaust shop in San Diego welded a second muffler into a first
muffler to make a Y-Pipe.

Thanks guys!
Best of all, I don't hear any exhaust noise from inside the car!
The second muffler is not OEM muffler. I'll have to look for the brand name later.

A lot of droning, isn't there? I don't know...I may be biased but exhaust systems on 4-bangers rarely bring out something that sounds amazing.
A V8 with an exhaust is a totally different thing however. You guys ever heard even the stock exhaust of the old E39 BMW M5? Music to one's ears.
Could it be because my car was park inside my garage? I had the garage door open as I turned the engine on while I had my camera on video mode.
Maybe if I have done this outside the noise would be a little less loud?

thanks for providing some sound for us. i know you and i have talked about exhaust before, now i think i just might actually go thru with it. it doesnt sound like a ricer at all.
Make a video out in the open (preferably with a drive-by view). Enclosed spaces can lead to very different sounds.
I'm not into aftermarket exhausts because of the fartcans I see bolted onto a bunch of 4-cylinder cars such as the Honda Civic, Mazda Protege, Dodge Neon, etc.
Your does NOT sound like a fartcan - I'll give you that even if the video is from a garage.
