5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Some '07 Camrys may exhibit a squeaking or rubbing noise coming from the rear of the vehicle when driving over bumps especially when outside temperatures are cold. If this condirtion continues, replace rear stabilizer bushings with the updated part number.

Great post. It will certainly help out others when they perform a search.
Tomorrow someone is going to start a thread asking about a rubbing or squeaking noise from the rear of their '07 Camry.
I have an 07 CE M/T, I hear a very slight "clunking" noise, like something moving, when the car shakes a bit upon closing both driver side doors- it comes from the area next to the rear drivers side wheel (doesn't happen with the passenger side doors). It doesn't sound like it's something breaking or broken. I wouldn't call it a "squeak or rubbing" noise, but maybe others would.
I don't know what/where the bushing is. So the noise might actually be coming from it. Opinions?
The car is going in for it's first oil change next month, and have a list going... should I add this TSB to the list or just mention the noise? I've found that explaining some issues to the service dept. are easier to describe if there is already a TSB.
Thanks,

That list:
C-Best Options: no delay on headlights off; unlock all 4 doors together; supposedly the HVAC can be modified to NOT run the A/C with the windshield vents (non-auto controls); TSB's: this one?, tranny one, center console squeak one.
