i am planning to lower my 02 Le or my 03 se, i know there are thred about the question i am asking but can't find them. Also in the back on my trunk i got a 2 subwoofer, would the back on my trunk sagg more then the front??
I been looking at TRD and Eibach. I know that they are the same but would i need addition part? such as a camber kit or anything.
Also where do you guy order your Trd or Eibach at.

the TRD springs are manufactured for TRD by eibach, so theyre essentailly the same thing
the TRDs are avalable at www.toyotapartsdirect.comwww.trdparts4u.com and occasioally a set shows up on ebay....some performance sites will carry the eibach or TIEN springs, but the genuine TRDs are harder to find...any dealer can order a set of TRDs, and most toyota parts sites carry them
I think one set drops the car a little more than the other, either the TRD or the regular Eibach.

eibach pro kit and trd are the same shit, just painted a different colour. no you won't need a camber kit or anything special. in fact you don't even need to cut the bumpstops. you shouldn't get a sag, you won't get one from the subwoofers, but when using lowering springs, i noticed, that the rear appeared sagged as opposed to the front. in fact they are not sagged, but the rear fender comes lower to the ground than the front, thus fender clearance was different making it look sagged. it's not really al that bad, but i'm a bit picky so I bought "rubber, 'donut' grooved spring booster inserts", put one on each side and voila, gave me that 1/2" to 3/4" lift in the rear that levelled out the car. rides fine, sits fine, and car looks great.
I wonder has anyone ever taken the TRD lowering kit (I know it is made by Eibach) and the Eibach Pro Lowering Kit and sat them side by side to compare. I tried to look up the specifics but it is too vague. The TRD lowering springs will drop your car '1 to 1.5 inches' according to several websites. It doesn't say 4 or 6 cylinder. The Eibach pro lowering kit will drop your car 1.4 inches in the front and 1.1 in the rear if you have a 4 cylinder. They will drop 2.0 inches in the front and 1.2 in the rear if you have a 6 cylinder.

they are the same...let me say it once more...they are the same...one more time...they are the same.
they did not engineer a whole new spring for trd, they just rebadged them. how they're rated i don't know but...they are the same.
do you have any proof? WE NEED PROOF!
