07 Camry Tein Springs/Coilovers

I have heard lots of stories of Tein coming out with springs or coilovers for the 07 Camry. I asked the sales department by email and this is the response I got:

To whom it may concern,

Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance suspension products.

Unfortunately, we currently do not carry any suspension products for your vehicle. Actually, all of our product development comes from our customer feedback. Unfortunately, we haven't received any suspension upgrade inquiries for the 2007 Toyota Camry, possibly because the vehicle is still relatively new to the market. That is not to say that we will never produce any suspension components for that model. The more requests we get from customers, the more likely we will consider it for product development. Our test vehicle list is always up to date. Please visit http://www.tein.com/test_vehicle.html for the list of vehicle that we are looking for.

However, in the case that we will not be mass producing a kit for your vehicle, we will be releasing a program called "Specialized Damper," which will allow our consumers to obtain a suspension kit made by TEIN, for almost any vehicle, with almost any features. This program is expected to be release sometime in between 6-12 months. For more information on Specialized Damper please visit http://www.tein.co.jp/e/products/spd.html.

Please keep posted with us for more updates. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience and greatly thank you for your understanding.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know.

Best regards,
Sales

here's what they wrote in response to my email few months ago:

Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance suspension products.

Actually, we have recently finished some testing on the new Camry for both lowering springs and coilovers. We would like to have parts available later this year. Please keep posted with us for more updates.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance suspension products.

We are still in the process of developing a prototype, we will be testing that soon. We do not have an ETA of the release date on our coilovers or the springs yet. Please keep posted with us for more updates. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience and greatly thank you for your understanding.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know.

Best regards,

I'll do the same. I remembered seeing a thread here a while back with somebody saying that Tien was supposed to come out with coil overs for our Camry's by December.

Okay, I know TRD and Eibach are the same, and I was getting some Eibach's, but is Tein stiffer and/or lower. And for anyone who but TRD or Eibach's on their Gen6 SE, was it worth it since we already have performance springs?

ahh netforcer .. i dont have any they are very classified.. cant share info on them .. really not even supposed to tell what we have on them but just wanted to help you guys out . i am fixing to put them on mine and i have 19x8.5 5zigen sc3000 rims .. so you can see how bad ass the drop is on mine im going 2.10 front and 1.95 rear .. so will be leaning a tad to the front unlike our dumb trd spings that sag in the rear .so camry looks lower in the rear than in the front.. should have the tires in the next week or so and then will slap on the coilovers and be done got to take my tein prototypes off my boy here at toyota wanted them and ill be running k sport.. like the functionality of the k sport much better.
