I don't have them on my rims...it's really no big deal for me.
I don't know why people go ape$#!t over not having a dash light tell you you're running out of air. I've been checking my air pressure on my tires with a guage since I got my license so I'm already conditioned to check it every few weeks. Maybe people find it discomforting to get out of their cars, bend down and use a tire gauge. They even have digital ones now so that there's no confusion on how to use it. Imagine that.
Here is my info.
1st set of aftermarket wheels -> transfered TPMS from stock wheels
2nd set of aftermarket wheels -> didn't transferred TPMS, I just covered the light with black tape on the dash board.
3rd set of aftermarket wheels --> didn't transferred TPMS, I just covered the light with black tape on the dash board.
Current set of GS wheels --> bought TPMS from ebay, had dealer reprogrammed the TPMS.
I didn't transfer the TPMS onto my 2nd and 3rd set because I knew these wheels won't stay with me long. The GS wheels are here to stay that why I bought the TPMS.
