Park the car on a level surface and re-torque the bolts to spec.

There might be more so if anyone knows please chime in.

Once you take them off & put in the strut bar, make sure you re-torque the bolts instead of tightening them as hard as you can.

My point was find out how much ft/lb these bolts are supposed to be torqued down to and do it. You shouldn't just simply tighten them back on.

I went ahead and did it for you this time:
Quote:
Torque: 85 N*m (867 kgf*cm, 63 ft.*lbf)
You will also need a torque wrench to torque the bolts to spec. If you don't have one I recommend driving to your local autozone/checkers/whatever and asking them if you can borrow a torque wrench. THe install shouldn't take you long so just do it in the parking lot (make sure you're on a flat surface).

And no you don't need to jack the car up.

I can't tell you exactly why, but I do know these numbers are there for a reason.

Maybe someone else can answer that for you =/

Just like our when tighten the lug nuts for our wheels. You need to do it with a correct torque so they tighten but not over tighten the lug nuts which will cause damage.
