5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have a request from those that have purchased the Xtreme HID Conversion kits from Xenon Depot.
If it's not too much trouble, can any of you take a photo of the H11 bulb with the connectors.
I would like to see if they uses the same connectors as the XenonDepot kits.
Or if anyone else that knows the answer, that would help also.
I have tried to contact XenonDepot, but was unable to do so as they are just too hard to get a hold of.
Thanks in advance.

I got mine from Xenonpros.com
they have a pic of the whole package, bulb, harness and ballast. If you contact them, this guy name Jerry is very good in responding. I only have pics of my car after the install.
The original Phillips kit has different connectors than the Xtreme kit.

Ya, I have the H11 Philips kit, and now one of the buld blew, so I can't get a replacement... so I was just wondering if the Xtreme kits had the same connectors or not... but looks like it's different... sucks for me.

You can buy a 4300k extreme bulb, then buy the replacement connector kit, Then you can cut off the extreme connector, and replace with the correct ones.

They did, but you can buy the bulbs and harnesses separately.
They do not sell the bulbs for H11 anymore, But they still sell the connectors.
I guess I can buy the connectors, and replace them with other H11 bulbs.

Seems like my bulb is ok, sometimes it turns on, sometimes it doesn't.
Does that mean something is wrong with the ballast or relay or ignitor?
Is there a way to check which one is faulty?

Swap the ballasts to the other side, if the problem is with the other bulb now, then its the ballast/ignitor

Can anyone help me with installing mine?
I'm so confused with what goes with what...
Obvious noob, understands where the bulb and ballasts would connect, but no idea with the harness...
And don't know where the squirrel spotters are...
AHHH

Try JSM's process of elimination first. Also, do you have a proper wiring harness that allows you to pull power from the battery instead of your cars electrical system? I had a problem with only one of my bulbs going on for a few days, then I researched and found out that sometimes there is not enough power to ignite the bulbs if there is a larger demand on the circuit. Once I installed a PROPER wiring harness that feeds off the battery, has relays and uses the OEM plug as a "trigger" I was just fine. I hope this helps.
