yes, i blew into the intake once to get some dirt out. i suspect that there were some gains

and doesn't seem like there is. take a look at the previous postings and you would know what the general population is modding....

ive often considered the possibility of the scion tC TRD supercharger on the gen 5 camry....ive been told that it WILL bolt up, but it requires some minor modifications....the tC is loosly based off the camry, and both cars share the same 2.4 L4, the 2az-fe. the main difference is the tC has a smaller engine bay than the camry does, and naturally the tC uses a smaller intake and exhuast setup (which is why you cant use tC headers, intakes and exhuasts)....this also applys to the supercharger, so if you want to make it work you'll need to faabricate mounts for it, and make sure there is proper hood clearence......another big issue is the different ECUs on the camry and tC, so you'd need to have a piggyback ECU to make the supercharger work on the camry....i havent seen this done before, but pioneers are always welcome
as for turbos, custom kits are always a possibility....someone on here and solaraguy turbo'd a gen 1.5 solara 2az with a custom kit
