I have a 2008 Camry Le with the basic OEM system(NO NAV-NON JBL) but it has the AUX jack to plug in my ipod.I've tried a search on the forum & found 1 link that was informative.The ipod interface that was linked in the thread was being sold on ebay & made by Peripheral.It was listed to work with 2007 models,nothing mentioned for 08's.I would like to install a unit like this b/c I feel it would be easier to control ur ipod when driving,plus I like the fact that u can use the steering wheel controls as well.I can also put the ipod away in the glove box out of sight & not have the charger & AUX cable hanging all over.I would like to know if this unit can be used for the 08?.....Here's the link that I found..... http://cgi.ebay.com/2007-TOYOTA-CAMR...QQcmdZViewItem

Make sure you get the right kind of wire for your Ipod and aux port.

Are you sure about that? My '07 basic HU doesn't have the AM-SAT button needed for that integration kit. Toyota's specs show satellite control only on the JBL and NAV units.

im currently using the PA12-toy by USA spec and it is a good unit so far.
i like the fact that it displays text.

this unit listed looks like it does the same thing as the USA spec.

Edit: here is the link where i bought it. it was the cheapest place i found it and i received it just as described.

Hey rydr1 ,do u have steering wheel controls & if so do they still work with this unit when hooked up?
