Talking Driving techniques.

I was on my way home from school today and I noticed how I predict lights(or try to) and roll stops. So I was wondering how do you guys do this? Also whats the fastest you guys taken a 90deg right turn in a gen5. With and without modified suspensions.(springs, ftb, rsb)

for intersections with lights, i watch the walk/don't walk sign beside the lights and judge by that for predicting lights. roll stops, depends where, cops here watch that quite a bit. 90deg turns, no idea, but i don't over-do the turns as that just wastes tires. i dont granny turn, but i also don't pull schumakers around bends.

i can take a 90 degree turn at about 25-30mph safely. stock suspension 03 SE
i predict lights at intersections by watching the other lights and noticing the sequence. its no real science, its just being familair with patterns and the area.

Yea i always try to get roll stops as much as possible. Cars still new so im not doing anything crazy with it, but its always nice getting on/off highway exits doing a good 45-50 mph easy.

I can only predict if I'm like right at a stop but comming towards a red light its kinda hard. 25-30. I feel like the Le got jacked on suspension.

I try to roll stoplights whenever possible because I don't want to clutch.

I got a ticket for excessive speed making a right turn at 25, so I do them at like 10 now....Fucking ticket was 9 points and one more ticket and I lose driving privilege for a year. I make complete stops at stop signs at such because of that.

I do what everyone else does and time the lights because our Camrys accelerate better while still moving.

By 90 degree turn, do u mean a flat out 90, or slightly elongate 90 degree turn.

I have the habit of turning at 10-20 depending on my music.

^

i watch the other lights and can judge them pretty well...it freaks out my passangers too, they always yell stop! just as the light goes green for me...lol...i also watch the walk/don't walk sign.

as far as the turns go, i never really looked at the speedo, but i don't take them too fast i usually have my puppy with me and i don't feel like having him slam into the window and risk hurting him.

Probably a reckless charge. In VA it's automatic reckless for doing 20 over which means court, probable suspension of license and BIG fines.

I always stop...seen too many close calls (and collisions) by those playing games like rolling stops and taking turns too quickly. Not to mention adding a pedestrian factor in the city.

Asking for trouble, IMO.
