5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Not exactly the same car, but I was shopping for a 2007 Camry LE a few weeks ago that retailed for $21,794. I got $18,200 before TTL and before the $1,000 rebate (not available with 2008's) at Toyota San Juan Capistrano. Talked with Sammy, very straightforward and nice guy.
When i purchased my LE in August, I was able to talk down to $20,100 Out the Door with factory alarm system. It took me 3 hours to haggle with the sales manager being that they need to meet end of month quotas.
I wanted basic model with no options besides the alarm, but it came with chrome pillars as well as wood trimmings inside.
It's a good deal if you think it's a good deal. In five years you won't remember to penny what you paid and it won't matter. But to ask if a price is a good price is ridiculous if you don't specify exactly what you bought. Totally stripped? probably not, but you didn't say, so it is hard to compare apples to apples.
Beyond this, how many threads do we have to endure on this topic. Look at the threads and figure it out. Why ask total strangers to validate your ego?

"People who think they know it all are particularly irritating to those of us who do."
Why would you want to beat yourself up, especially after the fact, when lower prices have been obtained by others? And who is going to verify the actual OTD price of cars with various options? You must not look back now since that should have been done before you signed the papers. Go in peace now.
