Oil Filter

I just want to know if oil filter brand really matter. I usaully justa grab a mobile 1 or an K&N oil filter, it cost about 12 dollar. I was just looking around ebay and saw some OEm toyota filter for about 40 dolalr for a pack of 10, it's a great deal. I just want to know if brand really matter and type of performance it really give.

my experience has alwayes been that the mobil 1 has a larger capacity but on this 07 SE I have it's not the filter you change. It's just the insert. Mobil 1 does not make the insert yet so I put mobil 1 fully synthetic with STP filter in mine.

+1

Do a search. There are plenty of threads dealing with oil, filters, wheels, ect...

Personally, I use OEM or Mobil 1.
