Hello all,

anyone know what the average price of the price you'd pay for 60k service to your car?

ditto on that. I need to know the same.

I think I can do th 60K service myself . Already changed the tranny fluid (drain & fill) with T-1v ATF. Did coolant change with totoya coolant. change PS fluid. Seafoamed motor...., cleaned throttle body etc... what else. Air filter, cabin filter etc you can easily do.

^ just basically check all the other parts on the car and you're set -- as far as the stuff that you've done that's all that's needed. I need to still do that =P tranny fluid is still okay from my dealer so i'll have it checked out again once i'm in at the dealers after another 3k miles.

still need that info on average price =P

Expect to pay around 3.5 to 4 hours in labor. we charge 4 hours. totally not worth it if you can do it yourself. but i love doin them! Those services are great for a steady paycheck. by the way... since you have 60k miles already, consider changing your timing belt if you have a v6, you don't have to worry about t-belts on the L4 cuz they're chain-driven.

It sounds very reasonable. What did they actually do though? That's what really matters.

Non flammable brake cleaner for really dingy areas and soap and water.

They are going to perform everything that's stated under the "alldata" http://www.alldata.com/ website for cars.

I looked it up at work with a co-worker since he owns an account and mostly it's just, coolant replacement, check all belts and hoses, rotate tires, replace filters.

Art's Automotive in Berkeley is pretty good, but I have no experience with Toyota dealerships.

In Sacramento, my local dealer charged $299 to do a 30/60/90k service.
