Gen6 K&n Sri

Hey TN

Just got the K&N short ram intake installed today... Took about 40 minutes to do... it was a pretty easy job. Hardest part was getting the stupid rubber on the heat shield.
Anyways... hope you enjoy.

So does the K&N or any other after market SRI filter void your warranty? I can't imagine, you are keeping the mass airflow sensor, and you have a filter. but I just needed to ask.

Also, is this K&N the only SRI for a 6-cyl SE? I have seen others for the 4-bangers....but little for the 6.

Any update on performance/gas mileage since your fist post?

I am so close to ordering one it isn't funny. Thanks for your info

Thanks again

Toby

They make ones for the I4 and V6 models, and no, it doesnt matter which grade you have.

The MAF remains. It is relocated to the SRI tubing.

won't be voided unless they prove the intake caused a malfunction in your engine
