Camry LE V6 Tranny

FYI,

I had a new tranny installed in my car Dec. 06 because of the flare issue. Although the flares with the new tranny were not as violent and with the old, nevertheless, they were still there.

I took my car in Monday because the check engine light had been coming on since last week. Of course, when I got to the dealer the light would not come on again. So, I told them that I still had the flare issue and the manager put my car on the computer to check it out. I started to get worried when I saw one, then two more techs go out to my car. They applied the latest up to date TSB and sent me on my way.

Yesterday when I got in my car to bring my son to school - the "check engine" light was on again. I took it back to the dealer. I just got a call saying that it looks like they have to order a computer for the new tranny that they put in back in December.

I just thought I would let everyone know what's going on with my car.

Sorry you have to go throught all that problems....that is not right with a new car!!!
