Gen6 is this normal?

Here's an issue with my 07 se. I'm at a red light. Light turns green and I release the brake pedal and slowly accelerate. The moment the car starts moving, the steering wheel makes a sharp right turn before I get a chance to hold on to the wheel. Is this normal? I never noticed this with my previous car. Is this what you call torque steer?

It's a combination of torque steer + your tires following major imperfections in the road.

Oh, forgot to mention, this happens every single time at every intersection, smooth or rough road, doesn't matter.

V6? Stomping on it moderately hard? Torque steer. Normal. Hold on tighter.

It sounds like torque steer, which is normal in front wheel drive vehicles. It occurs mostly because of the different lengths of the axles driving the wheels. You should be holding on to the steering wheel anyways.

You might want to check your air pressure in your tires. Low pressure in one tire will make it pull to that side

It's probably not the problem. If that was the case the car would pull all the time.
