Hey guys, new to the site here. I just got a 2007 Camry LE 2 weeks ago, and i love it. I really want to get a nav unit for the car, but aftermarket ones seem out of the question because of the way the oem unit is set up. So i am wondering if i can go to the dealer or online to get a stock 07 nav unit directly from toyota? If so would it work without any real problems? Also with the stock unit can you just add an amp and say 2 10's or 2 12s?

People have put in after market nav systems in LEs with no issues.
Some dealers in NC are offering the Eclipse 52d model which is the Eclipse 5510. My dealer has offered it for $1700.00 installed. Comes with 3yr/36month warranty. Thats the route I am taking. Thats also with bluetooth.

i remember somebody here told me that if you don't have the JBL system in your car you can't put the oem navi in your car. something about the JBL systems have an amp that the navi uses. i was also looking into doing the same thing you did except i got an SE. if we get that JBL amp along with the navi does that mean it could be hooked up with no problems?
yeah there are a couple threads about this subject but if you're a n00b like me when it comes to cars it gets pretty confusing. good luck with the navi stuff circaflex. if you find a solution to putting in oem navi in a non jbl car let me know. Thanks!
