The second beep is different (The VIP RS3000 system)

My 2000 Toyota is equipped with the RS3000 remote controlled security system.
When disarm the system, usually the PIEZO "CHIRPER" chirps twice and these two beeps have the same tone. But now sometimes the second beep is different (the tone is lower than the first beep). Does anybody know why?

I think that's normal - I have that happen regularly with the old '00 and the '05 Camry. This happens when the cars are parked outside for long periods of time (usually overnight) and the temperature gets extremely cold and a little wet. The '00 is the oldest one in the family and gets to stay outside while the other 3 cars sleep indoors - I hear what you are describing everytime I come out there in the morning. I assume perhaps it has something to do with moisture condensation on the chirper's little horn - it sits right bellow the hood, near the HVAC intake vent, so it wouldn't be hard to get condensation in there.
