Canada Stupid dashboard noise...

The colder is gets the more my car sounds like a chevette. All kinds of cracks from the dashboard when I start my drive to work. I found the following video, check it out....it's the sound on the video but burried deep in the dash and coming from 4 or 5 different places in the dash!!!

That video was made by our very own El Tano. Just look him up and I'm sure he will help you out with a fix.

Also, do a search next time.

07 Dash Rattle Noise TSB finally out

looks to be the clock area judging by the windshield wiper.

I couldn't fix it, I took the clock center console out, the two speakers, the radio area and I put foam, grease, WD 40 EVERYWERE and still there, I think it's the AC/heater duct, but I can't get to it without taking the entire dash out...

PD: And yes NJERALD we all know already that you don't have any noise...so eat it.. hahaha

Hello,

My 2007 Camry XLE V6 having the same problem. (I live in Milwaukee, WI)
The rattles came from the driver side dash board, passenger side dashboard and somewhere in the middle dashboard also.
I checked this thread, 07 Dash Rattle Noise TSB finally out, and then I take a look at the TSB thread here:
TSB 2007 Camry Listing with PDFS!

I don't see the TSB NV008-07 listed.

Last year winter time, I've asked my dealer to check the rattle 3 times. They said that they don't hear a thing. That's just unbelievable.
I'm planning on going to the dealer sometime next week since it's been cold around here and the rattle just driving me nuts.
Do you guys have any suggestion on how to approach the dealer to fix this problem?

My 07 SE had a creeking noise deep in the dash neer the windshield that seemed to move around. ( left to right ) Toyota of Tampa Bay spent 10 hr. hunting it down. After they struck out inside they moved under the hood and found it. Turned out to be a metal on metal condition. They removed the wipers, plastic panel under the wippers, then the metal panel under the plastic panel. Thats were they found the metal on metal. They installed a sheet of rubber between the metal panel and the body . 4K miles later and the noise is still gone. Hope this helps. keep us informed.

Canada

Just got my 07 SE back from dealer for the Dash creak noise repair. It was an 4.5hr job for them according to the TSB. Anyway, the creak noise is now gone after owning the car for 1 year. Hope it will stay like this.
