Agreed that it's hard to keep it on the first time.

The plastic isn't made too well, it's hard to have to stick on properly, you would have to reinforce it with some more 3M tape.

The wiring wasn't too hard. I used the front door courtesy lights to power them, so they come on when the doors are open. As for the rear ones, the map light for the two rear seat passengers was a bit far away, so I just got lazy and paired them to the front door ones. So now when the driver's door opens, the rear driver side door sill lights up.

They are definitely not a great quality product, but for around $30-40 from Ebay, what do you expect. I don't expect a long life out of these, I'm thinking they'd probably break within 2-3 years.

Indeed. I do agree about getting what you paid for. I dont have alot of people to drive around either, so I think I might be able to squeeze some life out of them.

Maybe Toyota will come out with an actual stainless better product?? I dont know, these will do for now.
