Does anyone know if this is installed at the factory, port or dealer on 2008 Camry? I am waiting on a Camry Hybrid that is en route to the port. I asked my salesman (because I'd like to have one installed) and he said it's a factory-installed option. But he's been wrong about a lot of things already....

Glad I asked. First he told me all the 2008 Camry Hybrids come with JBL and Bluetooth - I had to tell him that only applied to 2007 and they made that an option for 08. He said that's not true, and so I asked him why they called it an "Upgrade Package" and why I was paying for it. He said, "I don't know" and went to ask another salesman. He went on to be wrong about the color codes, pricing for port-installed leather seats versus factory, and more. Says he's been selling Toyotas at this particular dealership for 2 years...

You might want to check all of the prices on the whole car. And get a new salesman.

I agree. I would specifically make sure not to let this salesman get commission from my new car.
It's one thing when a salesman has to look up stuff before answering your questions. But it's another thing when a salesman gives wrong answers shamelessly.

Demand a new salesman, but don't let them know you know too much. It could give you a nice little bargaining edge. lol.

The Spoiler is indeed a factory installed option/piece.. Although some regions do not order the spoiler option from the factory and install it at the port/dealer. It just depends on your region of the country. It also just depends on what inventory of cars the region has "on the ground" they'll add it at the port/dealer to meet a customer's request.
I called the GM and SM. They assigned a new salesman and said the spoiler is available at the port. hopefully things will be smooth from here on out. Car is supposed to arrive any day now.
Mine was installed at the dealer after purchase, I had to bring the car back a week after getting it for the install, took about 1.5 hours for the install.

You'd have to call to find out, it was given free with the purchase, didn't pay for the spoiler or the install. Initially I went in to buy an LE, then they talked me into the SE, but I would have had to wait 4-6 weeks and my daughter was due before the delivery would occur, so I talked them into a deal on the XLE they had on the lot, that's what I got.
