Hi, I'd like to ask how are going to allow/bypass/overwrite the head unit of toyota camry 2007 so that you can watch DVD movies while driving?
We tried putting a switch in the speed sensor line connected to the head unit, it worked for a few miles but after that, it goes back to Sat Nav mode. When we pull over and stop, it'll return to display the DVD movie.

Anyone know what to do?
Thank you very much!
Now, I know you're in China but isn't that a safety issue which is why Toyota disable it? I think you should just leave it alone for everyone safety.

Thank you for the fast response, we just want to know how do we disable it to make it work. Yes we are also aware of the safety regulations and no pron for us. hehehe...
Regardless of whether he'll watch it or not, it's still not safe because he'll be distracted and will try to look/watch while he is driving.
so is texting while driving.. there are millions of things ppl can do to get distracted .. its all responsibility.. its at his own risk to disable it.. but he did not ask for our opinion on what we thought about having it disabled, he just asked how to do it.
its just not safe. period.
thats why theres REAR seat DVD instead of factory in dash
anyway, i havent seen anyone bypass the factory unit as of yet....i know aftermarket units all can do this, but im not sure if theres a way to bypass the factory features to disable it
Hehe, guys lighten up. I just asked how it is done, it is the responsibility of the driver if he'll get distracted or not. As a matter of fact, when you drive, the Sat Nav is also a distraction. Isn't it?
