I jus put these on and i'm not really an expert on rims.... but it had occured to me ever since they been on my dashboard makes a crankling/clank noise anytime i hit a tiny bump on the street which is really annoying. any fix except switchin back to stock. the are 18" tsw on 225/40 18. Im pretty sure there an easy fix..... thanks
I can't help you with your problem since I'm still driving around on my steelies, but your car looks really good. I love the look of the rims. Not to go off topic, but what % is your tint? That looks to be about what i am wanting to get on my car.

funny You ask I thought they were supposed to be 20% all around but when I got pulled over earlier this week the tint scanner said it was 15 all around...

No wonder it looks so good. I guess 20% is the perfect tint imo. I had it on my Mustang til i got pulled over and got a ticket. I thought I could get rid of the ticket if I had it fixed, so i changed the front to 35% but still had to pay the ticket. Oh well, live and learn. I'm tempted to go ahead and put 20% on the Camry after seeing it. I think 80 bucks for a ticket is worth it for the look. And I'm no expert on tinting, but I don't think the 20% includes the factory tint. Mine read 17% when i was pulled over. so you have to add the factory to the aftermarket, altho 5% extra sounds like too much for the factory stuff.

Too bad for the ticket, I off got because I work UPS. on another note I got these tints aftermarket.
That was my nex move what are best springs eibach or trd... Also what if i get bigger tires maybe 235 instead of 225?
Well, the sidewall/low profile of 40 doesn't help your ride. You should have gone with the 225-45-18 or 235-45-18 (I got these) for 2 reasons:
1. Bigger sidewall means softer ride.
2. It also make the gap between your tires and the wheel edge smaller.
The way it look with your 225-40-18 it makes the tires/wheels small compare to the car.
You can lower the car with Eibach/TRD springs but that also make your car ride more harsh. You don't think you should lowered consider you already complaint about how harsh the ride with the current setup.

Back on stock height and love it!
The smaller sidewall will make the ride a bit rougher than with whatever wheels you had before. That rougher ride might be vibrating things more than with the previous tires.
IIRC, the glass from the factory is already tinted to 70% transmission so that might be part of the reason why the measurement was 15% instead of 20%.

BULLETIN
September 18, 2006
If a creak, tick, or rattle noise is heard at the top or bottom of the windshield, the source
of the noise may be the two windshield stoppers bonded to the top of the windshield or
the windshield retainers bonded to the lower edge of the windshield. This bulletin
provides the recommended repair procedure to eliminate these types of noises from the
windshield area.
NOTE:
Some vehicles have both stoppers and retainers while others may only have stoppers
at the top of the windshield. Use the chart in this bulletin to determine the location of
the windshield holding devices.

Wow didnt kno that about the pre-tinting of 70% nypd told me that was our legal %... 70% legal limit thats damn there nothin!!!!
TRD/Eibach are the same spring..TRD is just painted red and says TRD instead of Eibach...which are black. Depending on if you have a V6 or I4 will depend how much it drops.

its a v6 so whats a reasonable drop for front/rear
