Smile Sienna dash in gen 5.5 Camry?

Can it be done? Aftermarket?

I love the Sienna dash when it's lighted up. BTW, is it just called a dash? Tried ebay and all I found as trim kits.

Instrument Panel Cluster/IPC

Anything can be done, but it's not feasible for the situation.

I notice that my 2002 Camry gauges are not as bright as the gen 5.5 ones....

will the gen 5.5 gauges at least be plug & play in my gen 5?

and is the odometer reading stored in the ECU so after swap the new gauge will show the correct value.

the reason why its brighter is because they are optitron gauges.

Quoted from http://www.toyota-caribbean.com/tech..._optitron.html

"Optitron instruments
Optitron driving instruments are designed for greater clarity and reduced eye fatigue. Ergonomically* optimized, they use individual LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) on every figure and indicator needle, doing away with traditional instrument illumination. Optitron provides outstandingly clear readability - leading to less eyestrain - and enhanced driving concentration, whatever the ambient light conditions. The instrument panel lights up when you turn the ignition key.

*Instrumentation ergonomics were first investigated in an attempt to reduce eye stress and fatigue amongst long-haul airline pilots. By reducing the number of dials, improving layout and lighting, pilot reaction times and safety were improved dramatically."

not sure if they will be plug and play, the only gauge cluster i have taken out is for my old gen 3, and therefore unsure about the odometer reading.

It's probably not impossible but you're looking at a huge amount of work. It's not a simple plug and play job.
