i have an 2008 camry le i4 and everytime i'm stopped at a red, the idle is so rough. would the dealer know anything about it to fix it? i hate going there and they give me some bullshit excuse. any 08's out there experience the same? my car's about 2 months old and has 4000 miles on it

Is the MIL on? If not, it's probably normal. 6 cylinders idle smoother than 4 cylinders. 8 cylinders idle smoother than 6 cylinders.
but back on topic.. when its idleing rough.. do you have ane a/c on? What rpm is it idleing at? if you put it in neutral, does it stop? we need more info.

What exactly do you consider a rough idle? My 2001 4cyl idles very smooth, unless I concentrate I don't really notice the engine idling. Even with the AC on it's still smooth.
My 87 Camry does not idle as smooth, party due to it having over 400,000 kilometers etc. but it's not terrible. My 71 Corolla idles pretty nicely as well, same with my 81 Pickup.
I drove a 2007 4 banger Camry and the engine was nearly silent, at idle or at speed. Like I said, what do you consider "so rough"? Honestly though, you should not even notice it.
