It can't hurt anything to do it, but the real question is why do you have a rough idle? Seafoam is likely a good cheap first start. If it isn't cured then you go on to other possible causes which could include electrical/ignition issues, fuel delivery issues, burned valves, etc.

It helps more on cars with high mileage, since thats the more miles you have the more crud there is in the engine and intake (usually). I Seafoamed my car and I noticed a bit of a difference, nothing much. Although it's good to take preventive maintence and do it every 15-30K miles, then to wait until you have 100K+.

Seafoam is good stuff, its no miracle in a can but about the best out there. The good thing about it is it is also a good light lubricant as well as a cleaner. So it does double duty.
As anybody knows there are a hundred comparable products out there for cleaning inside a motor but none of them can do all that seafoam can do.
The best thing to use it for is for cleaning the throttle body and idle air control. It is best to do this about every 30,000 miles. Because i have seen idle air control and throttle body butterfly so gummed up the Camry would not even idle without stalling, and cleaning totally fixed the car. (The PCV gases from the engine get routed directly back to the plenum on most Camry engines, and so it gets dirty fast in this area.)

What is a "bottle throttle"?

SeaFoam usually won't fix anything. It's preventative maintenance.

The best way to fix your miss is find out why it's missing.

Do all the cylinders have good and equal spark?

Is it running lean (lean missfire)?

How much vacuum do you have?

How much compression?

Is it really a rough idle?

Are you sure that it's not normal?

You list all sorts of things that you've done, but not one of them has anything to do with diagnosing a rough idle or a miss.

If your car is a '96, why are you in the Camry section for '02 and up?

At 120k miles I'd do a compression check, looking for a burned exhaust valve. Likely bet the farm on this one, but if you think that flushing the transmission is a better choice, hey, go with it.
