Gen6 Finally Installed Fog Lights

Hey guys just posting here to thank everyone in this forum for the valuable information that was posted here that made my installation possible and not that hard at all...Here are some pics I will like to share with everyone....

This is my car before the fogs...

Passing the cables under the hood (you can't really notice the difference after the install, is like if there aren't any new cables at all..)

Hardest part, connecting the ebay kit cables directly to the ECU, i found this empty box with some male connectors, check for electricity and boom, one had constant current and 2 had current only when you turn on the lights switch so, I connected the white cable form the ebay kit on the constant current male one, and the little red one to the other that only had current when turning on the lights, it works like a charm. Then I just tied the cables and relay with the other bunch of cables around the ECU (they are basically hidden) and drill a hole on the panel for the switch that comes with the kit with a Dremel, and WALLA, everything works fine!!!!

Here's how the switch looks...

Will post a picture later with the fog lights on at night, because you can't really notice it now with the Sun all the way temps around 90's, jeje...

here how my car looks now: (Sorry , it's dirty, but it has been raining a lot lately so no chance to clean it)

That of course if your LE came pre wired for fog lights, unfortunately mine didn't.

And yes, i should have bought another switch that one is ugly... but I guess it's too late for that...

anyways is doesn't look so bad at all.....

Tap the parking light fuse (tail 15a I think) and keep the switch in the on position. Now your fogs will be on w/ lo and hi's =D

Yes, I have mine setup so they come on and off with the low-beams. I didnt want to have to switch it on manually or forget to turn them off.

The thing about tapping the tail fuse is that when you have your HIs on your fogs are still on. !

It's hard to tell which fuse he used, I tried a few before finding the right one. I would recommend using the low-beam fuse so whenever the low beams are on, the fogs are on. You can tell which fuse goes to what by looking at the description on the fuse box cover.

looks great! all camrys should come standard with fogs IMO

when i put fogs on my old acura, i tapped the parking light fuse, and mine were able to be switched on anytime the parking lights were on....diod you tap the parking light fuse since your car was not prewired for the oem fogs?
