Gen6 Sh*tty purchase?

I was thinking about getting fogs.

With that being said, i found this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-08...spagenameZWDVW

Do you think I will be wasting money since its not a 100 or 200 dollar kit? Are they cheesy?

It's all good. I would wait until he posts pictures. Looking at the pictures on Ebay, it looks like light might leak out between the black housing and the bumper.

I bought mine from eBay as well (same item, different seller), and they look great! It's by far one of the best purchases i've made, the only downside is that it took a while to install.

^^ that's nothing that a weekend and a 6 pack cant fix.

as soon as the wif gets here, i will convince her that they are a "necessity".

then she will probably shoot down my idea, then i will order them anyway. j/k

Ick, i hate that switch. Mine kit came with the same option, but I went for the more subtle approach.

Its not the factory turn signal-fog lamp switch, but it works..

^^ since you live in Houston, they sell the same switches at Auto Zone for about 2 dollars.

To update everyone, I just made the purchase. I went with the JDM set off of ebay.

I know people have posted DIY installs for fogs before, but I will do one anyways just to say that I have done one. My footwell lighting mod will be done in the same day so I will knock out two birds with one stone.

Thanks to all for the input.
