5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Anyone have any idea on how good the resell value of a 2007 Camry XLE will be compared to other vehicles? For example, my girlfriend is looking at a 2005 Pathfinder that is going for $28,000 with about 70,000 miles on it. The car brand new was probably around $35k I'd imagine. Supposedly the Pathfinders have a great resell value...what about the Camry's? Just curious. Only intelligent responses need apply. Thanks,

70K miles for $28K?? You can buy a brand new 4Runner for about that.
I don't know what options it has, but the KBB retail value for a stock SE 4WD V6 model is only $17,690.
I was shocked to find out my 07 SE v6 that had a window sticker over $30,000 were available on Cars.com or Carmax with low miles are available for about $23,000. This is the first time I have been upside down with a new car. There were over 130 07 Camry's in my zip code for sale when I checked last week. The thing that bothers me is that insurance co's use NADA for a total loss pay off which could put a owner in a real hole between loosing their car and still owing more than the pay off.
