gen 5.5 tails on a gen 5

i definitly perfer the look of the gen 5.5 SE tails over the look of the plain tails on my 03 (gen 5)
i know that these tails do not bolt right on, because you need the harness from the gen 5.5
does anyone know if the harness bolts right in of if some cutting/soldiering is needed to adapt the gen 5.5 harness so i can use gen 5.5 tails on my gen 5?

ive heard theyre different, cause on the gen 5's the turn signals are in the middle and theyre on top of the gen 5.5's and the other lights are different as well....i could be wrong, as i have never removed eitherb sets of tails to examine the wiring layout

Yes, it wont be hard to do they're direct bolt-on between Gen5.5 and Gen5
