I have this same problem. When I brought the car in earlier this year for service, I had them look into it. They said they couldn't hear anything. At that time, I didn't realize that I only hear the rattling at the lowest speed. I plan to take it back soon. It is a subtle, but annoying noise. Especially when driving at night with no music on. It actually sounds like ungreased (or lightly greased) ball bearings.

Exactly,i don't usually have the radio on so it gets annoying pretty fast.If they get the problem repaired please update me on what they did. When I take my car in for the first oil change I will get this looked at.Those mechanics that told you they couldn't hear anything are full of crap. They have a stethoscope for mechanical purposes like I use on my job and it is very noticeable with that.

That is funny....

But seriously, I had a similar noise/rattle in my 2007 Camry when my blower was on any speed above the lowest setting and only when the vent was set to dash only. I was in the shop for something else and the tech heard it too. He took out the cabin filter and then put it back along with re-seating the vent above the radio. Since then, no more noise.
