Gen6 V6 transmission shift question

I just had a question about the way that the 6speed transmission in the 2007 camry shifts. So a little history I had the latest TSB applied in which they reflashed the computer to eliminate the 3-4 flare. I never really payed much attention to the Tach untill the flare started happening and the TSB seems to have fixed it although the transmission seems to shift hard sometimes and it seems like it hangs onto gears longer than it used to before upshifting but like I said I didnt pay attention to the tach much before so it might be my imagination.

So after heavy acceleration the transmission seems to shift up through all the gears to get to the the right gear in which it should be cruising at. For example if acceleration the RPMs rise to 5k and then I take my foot off the gas it will shift up and the RPMs drop to 3k and then to 2k and finally to 1.7k on the highway. Is this normal and im just imagining this is different from before the TSB was applied? I cant seem to help watching the tach all the time now. Thanks
