12V connector fuse

My 12V connectors in my 07 LE keeps blowing the fuse. I have replace the fuse twice. I am going to take it back to the dealer. Have anybody else exprience this issue with the fuse. I do connect my Sirius radio in those 12V sockets.

What the hell are you talking about? Connectors? What connectors? If you are blowing fuses, the amperage drain on the circuit exceeds the rated limit of the fuse and likely the wire gauge as well. If you don't know the right word for something, at least describe what you are looking at.....

Look inside the receptacle and see if there is any debris or if there is anything melted. If not, it's most likely a function of whatever you are plugging into the outlet. Try going a little bit with something else plugged in and see if you have the same issue. I doubt you'll find a fix at the dealer because an aftermarket device is drawing too much current for the circuit.

+1

99.9% of the time someone is using something in the socket that's drawing too much amperage.

The fuse is a safety device. If it keeps blowing the fuse, stop using the item that's drawing too much.

Actually, gdanaher had a very good point. Your original post wasn't all that specific.

I think that it would have been more appropriate of you to reply to everyone if we were on the right track understanding your problem. A thank you to everyone that was trying to help, would have been better than calling someone dumb nuts.
