5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I know I said I was going to stick with the I4, but Longo Toyota made me an offer I couldn't refuse. And after the amazing drive home I'm glad I made the change.
The car is at my tint guy atm getting 18% on the rear and rear-sides. I will post pics of the tint later, but for now here's the car just after I took delivery.
You made the right choice man! Honestly, given how the 4-banger and V6 deliver almost the same fuel economy, but the V6 is MUCH faster, I don't see why anyone would even consider the I4 after test-driving both.

Thats why I chose the V6. I can see on the Gen 5 though because the I4 made about 160HP, and the V6 only made about 190HP (before the Gen 5.5), so if I bought the car then, I would probably just get the I4 5-speed.

that must be an awesome feeling! putting rims on a brand new car! ive never experienced that... one day ill be throwing some on a new s8. btw you made a mistake! i spied a lunar mist 5.5 se in the background!
Looking good. Now, to make it look & ride better, you gotta lowered it.
ps. How did you buy those GS rims so fast???
Yeah, I can see lowering springs in my future.
I had the GS rims on my I4 for about a year. I really liked the look of my I4 and that's the reason I stuck with the silver. Essentially new car is exactly the same as my old, except for the V6. The people at work can't even tell I got a new car my looking at it. Then they see the plates and ask. But walking up to it from the side they have no clue it's different.
