Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hahaha you know that time costs money. You can always find something cheaper one day.
I just don't get why people are trying to put a value of $50 on tires which actually cost $173 a piece.
I certainly wouldn't want to do business such dis-honest people. This is more than cheap bargaining - it's a plain ripoff for the seller.
To the seller: Given the shameful low-balling you see on this tread, I'd recommend selling on eBay and getting something MUCH closer to your wheel/tire's worth.
dis-honest people???
You base your price on how much he has to buy from retail store.
I base my price on how much I would paid if I get from craigslist/ebay.
How is that dishonest???
It's not about ripoff for the seller.
It's a fair market value.

I expected people to post their opinion of what they are worth. I think I have a good idea of that now.
Ok, I was a little wound up, if you do not have to box/ship, that has value: come up with a fair price with agreement...I hope it works out for both of you.
+1
I agree wholeheartedly!! I thought it would be a good idea to post this for some input. I know I could probably get more on EBay, but I thought giving a fellow member a good deal is more important. geoff5093 lives in the same city as me. He can see the wheels in person and I don't have to worry about shipping. I don't feel like he is out to lowball me. I don't think price is the big issue here. It is more important to me that we both feel like we got what we wanted for a fair value. We are a community of enthusiasts. I would like to think we would treat each other with respect. If it means getting a few bucks less than I could somewhere else, it is worth it to me.
yea were def on the same page. i would rather spend a few bucks more and help out someone here! im a little disappointed in seeing some of the bashing in here because i would really like to see more buying and selling here. this place should be like a safe haven compared to the crazy jungle hong-kong sellers of ebay...
Then why and the h**L did you ask our opinion????
Just give him a good deal and go on with it!!!!
What did you expect with sooooo.... many opinions around here?
I don't see why everyone is getting upset (not just you west). I know he asked for your opinion, but when I started saying that I don't believe it's worth the $700-$900 people are suggesting, everyone started flipping out.
I don't believe he's trying to match what Toyota is selling them for, as that would never happen. The fact is used stock rims and tires (even though they are only a few hundred miles used), aren't worth what the factory/dealer charges. (Just like the $2K for the TRD rims).
We are currently working out a deal that hopefully will work for both of us.
BTW, this is a great way to show a new member what our forum is like.

used stuff dont get that much money, my buddy sold his 07 se wheels and tires with 200 miles for 640 plus 150 ship , lugs included. That set is worth about 300 for rims and 300ish for tires, you will have to get your sensors on there and rebalance.....i get 600 for brand new XLE chrome rims, so "used" Xle rims in stock finish are at the most 3-400 a set
